This article covers the installation of the Airwall agent on Windows computers, managed by a corporate entity. This article is not applicable to most users and should only be followed if instructed by a Syntric support staff member.
If you have administrative permissions to your computer, please follow this guide instead.
Installing the Agent
Your IT team have already pre-configured the agent, ready to be deployed to you computer. You will need to initiate this, however.
To complete the installation, open the application "Company Portal" on your windows desktop. You can find this under the start menu.
Once open, search for "Airwall" and you should be presented with the below option:
Click the yellow shield icon and then select "install".
Once complete, the agent should open in the background. Open the agent by pressing the task tray chevron, next to your clock, and then double clicking the yellow shield:
Finally, supply the ID, as outlined below, to email@example.com.
